The bikes were perfect for the tour and no worries if you\u2019re a shorter person (like myself), they have the perfect bike for any length.\n\nGreat, spacious, clean and luxurious accommodations were enjoyed throughout the tour. They even took care of the laundry at times if we had any!\n\nExpect not just any organized motorcycle tour. The whole Altitude Adventures team made it feel like being on an epic adventure with close friends or family instead. With Alex making sure you\u2019ll feel super welcome, comfortable and well taken care of from the very first contact with his exceptional friendliness, attentiveness and attention to the smallest details.\n\nNow Morn\u00e9 and Helena are unquestionably some of the kindest and most wholesome people I\u2019ve ever met. Morn\u00e9 is the friendliest, most patient, helpful, skilful and funny person and it was such a bliss to be \u2018under his wings\u2019 during this tour. Also worthy to note that Helena is a fantastic cook (pap!) and Morn\u00e9 an excellent Braaimaster.\n\nThen Mika, the multi-talented, cool, kickass, hardworking adrenaline junkie making sure to shoot the best shots anytime and keep everyone safe and hydrated simultaneously. And Frank is undoubtedly one of the most intelligent and imperturbable people I\u2019ve come across. Can fix anything and everything and has already solved a problem before you knew it existed.\n\nIf you\u2019re doubting whether to go to South Africa or not; don\u2019t think twice! The riding was outstanding, the scenery constantly jaw-dropping, and the off-bike moments\u2014safaris, braais, and shared evenings\u2014and the unexpected surprises were just as memorable as the miles on the road.\n\nWhat sets Altitude guys apart is how they take care of riders. Age, background, or experience level doesn\u2019t matter. Whether you\u2019re a seasoned motorcyclist or relatively new to touring, you\u2019re supported, included, and made to feel completely at home. You never feel out of place\u2014only welcomed.\n\nThis is a professionally executed operation run by the chillest people who clearly love riding the country and care deeply about the riders they host. They go above and beyond for service, communication is perfect, excellent prices and always helpful for any needs.\n\nCircumstances put me in South Africa, traveling alone for a short period and I really wanted to ride. Within a few days I had a bike, newly serviced, and ready, flexible rental time and at a very good price. They assisted in route planning and answered any questions promptly. They even got me a lower seat to fit the bike to my height.\n\nI did get a flat tire on the first day, but just a quick phone call and they had it sorted quick and easy while i relaxed for a bit by the pool. The bikes looked fantastic with one in sleek black and the other in blue and white off road colours and one of them had a quick shifter which made the riding even more fun.\n\nOn the road they were everything we hoped for. Smooth and comfortable for easy cruising. Powerful and confident on climbs. Really capable on dirt roads. Simply a joy to ride from start to finish.\n\nThe service was outstanding.\nAlex is extremely friendly and genuinely helpful and he stayed in close contact throughout. He is humble and enthusiastic and the level of care he puts into his business really stands out. The bikes were ready when we arrived and he shared excellent route tips that were diverse and scenic and perfectly matched with what we wanted.\n\nWe also received riding jackets and helmets which made everything really convenient. Everything was clean and in good shape and it was great not having to worry about any gear.\n\nWe followed two brilliant routes that made the most of the bikes and the scenery around Cape Town. The first day took us from Simonstown to Cape Point and then along the coast through Scarborough Kommetjie Noordhoek and over Chapmans Peak towards Hout Bay Camps Bay and Clifton before finishing in Seapoint. The second day took us from Cape Town through Stellenbosch Franschhoek Botrivier Bettys Bay and Gordons Bay and then back to Cape Town. Both days were stunning and incredibly varied and they showed how perfectly these bikes fit this part of the country.\n\nThe location of Altitude Adventures is a big advantage. It is only a short Uber from Cape Town and you start your ride in a beautiful area with very little traffic. It makes the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable right from the beginning.\n\nIf you are planning a road trip in South Africa this is without a doubt the best choice. They helped us with route planning to enable us to see the best sights. There was a good choice of bikes, we went for the Honda Africa Twin, which road great and was comfortable for myself and my partner.
